Hawaii Energy is the ratepayer-funded energy conservation and efficiency
program administered by Leidos Engineering, LLC under contract with the Hawaii
Public Utilities Commission serving the islands of Hawaii, Lanai, Maui, Molokai
and Oahu. Per Bill Carroll, EMPOWER Sales GM, "We will be aggressively
introducing Marathon's SyMax PMAC motor technologies to the Hawaiian Islands
with our Hawaiian Distributor Partners to help the State of Hawaii achieve its
stated goals of reducing electric energy consumption by 30% over the next 10
